**Overview of the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Plant Operator at Orica Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating fixed and mobile plant machinery to produce chemicals and packages used in the blasting process.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are looking to develop their skills in manufacturing processes.

**Key Accountabilities:**

  • Operate state-of-the-art equipment and plant machinery.
  • Assist with essential plant maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Engage in labor-intensive duties that keep our production running efficiently.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A positive friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Some manual handling working experience.
  • A current C Class driving license.
  • The ability to pass all relevant security & police checks.
  • Commitment to working with safety as a priority.
  • Forklift license would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
