About the Role
The Service Apartment Unit Coordinator will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care, fostering inclusivity and building long-lasting relationships. This vital role ensures the well-being of residents, making it an excellent opportunity for those who value kindness, compassion, and drive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always of the highest standard.
  • Foster a safe and enjoyable work environment, promoting a culture that values diversity and respect.
  • Actively engage with residents' families, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and District Health Boards, creating lasting relationships.
  • Perform and support nursing teams to conduct interRAI assessments, ensuring resident needs are continuously assessed and met.
  • Dedicate quality time with your team, including flexibility of rostered hours on different shifts to connect with all team members within the unit.

About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, you will have:
  • A current APC (annual practising certificate) and interRAI training or willingness to gain competency.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Nursing Leader, with the ability to lead, share knowledge, and motivate your team.
  • Kindness, compassion, and drive, to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
