Youth Mental Health Care Professional

Job Summary:
Northern Regional Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical oversight and best practice assessment and treatment to children and youth.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those from culturally rich communities. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with primary care partners, schools, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our CAMHS teams
- • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and youth with mental health needs
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary care partners, schools, and other healthcare providers
- • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to register or registered in a Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will also require a Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC.
