About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Wairarapa. As a key member of our service, you will provide obstetric and gynaecological care for the Wairarapa region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general obstetric and gynaecological services to the community
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in on-call roster to ensure 24-hour acute and elective care
- Maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology
Requirements:
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for registration
- Holding a higher qualification appropriate to the practice of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- At least two years of postgraduate obstetrics and gynaecology specialty experience
- Confidence and experience with colposcopy and obstetric ultrasound scanning
