The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Specialist Case Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in improving living conditions alongside people experiencing homelessness.
You will work closely with your team, clients, and landlords to create housing and support plans, and provide ongoing support to sustain tenancies. Your focus will be on securing stable housing and connecting individuals with services for full social inclusion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the mental health, addiction or social service sectors, and/or a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., clinical psychology, social worker or nursing).
- A basic understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi, Reo Maori and Tikanga, with a desire to learn, share, and grow in this area.
- Experience engaging with Maori and Pasifika is highly valued.
- Good physical fitness.
- A current full and clean New Zealand driver's license.
