We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the Adult Day Surgery Units. The successful candidate will have experience working with adults and children, as well as surgical nursing skills and attributes.

The role involves providing pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing surgical and interventional radiology procedures across various specialties. You will also be responsible for pre-operative care for patients having major surgery.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and patients

**Requirements**

  • 3+ years of surgical nursing experience
  • Ability to work all shifts Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility to move around the four units
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
