Think Water Taranaki is looking for a Reliable Equipment Technician to join our expert team. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and be passionate about working with pump systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing various pumping systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in pump systems.
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
  • Collaborating with clients to assess their needs and provide expert advice on pump solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of services performed, parts used, and system conditions.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in working with pump systems or relevant engineering field.
  • Strong technical skills, with an emphasis on mechanical and electrical components of pump systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your time.
  • Valid clean driver's license.
  • Legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
