Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Protection Engineer to join our Substations Transmission & Distribution (T&D) team in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering consultancy engineering services in the field of High Voltage T&D. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Providing High Voltage power transmission consultancy services with a core focus on utilities.
  2. Managing and delivering the design of Protection schemes for T&D utilities.
  3. Supporting a diverse range of projects which include renewable connection projects, across On Shore Wind, Solar, BESS, Data center connections and both green and brownfield projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in High Voltage T&D and protection engineering.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
