Your Role at SECUR
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating over dimension/overweight units, complying with all jurisdictional traffic safety legislation, and inspecting transport units and loads for safe operation during, prior to, and after all transport assignments as required by jurisdictional, and / or NSC standards.

You will also ensure load is properly secured at all times, complete and submit all documentation as required, abide by all company and customer specific safety procedures, prepare manifests and/or bills of lading, inspect all material to ensure compliance with manifest, and bill of lading descriptions, communicate with customer regarding expected onsite arrival and service requirements, and loading and transporting equipment and materials for Metals Recycling.

In addition, you must ensure all transport of hazardous and non-hazardous materials complies with TDG Regulations, and ensure equipment / loads being transported meet all requirements relating to weight and dimension regulations for each jurisdiction traveled.
