The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join our Banking team based in Auckland, led by partners Dan Collins, Miriam Andrews, and Paul Farrugia. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of deals including leveraged finance, structured finance, acquisition finance, mezzanine finance, project and construction finance, syndicated lending, and debt restructuring.
About You
- You will ideally have 4-7 years' PQE in general banking and finance law.
- Experience in leveraged finance is desired but not essential.
- You will have gained experience from private practice or in-house, with at least some of that experience gained in New Zealand.
- You will be capable of drafting and leading negotiations on core documentation.
- You will have an interest in mentoring junior lawyers.
- You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will have experience managing banking transactions according to deadlines.
