About the Role

This is a key position within Arxada, responsible for leading EHS support in the implementation and enablement of assigned tactical elements. The successful candidate will provide guidance to the business on necessary actions required to deliver outcomes in hazard and risk management within the production and chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational supervision of EHS elements on site, laboratory, field research team, and crop protection sales team.
  • Lead hazard and risk management assessments process utilizing range of risk methodologies.
  • Provide support and enable business to consistently implement, adhere and comply with EHS management systems to ensure legislative requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist with effective integration relationship and support between EHS and business needs and objectives.
  • Lead safety culture change with interpretation analysis and motivation of individuals.
  • Ensure prevention of work-related injury or illness through provision of an effective behavioral-based safety process and hazard identification system.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership in EHS working and influencing at senior level.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to manage workload/priorities, setting realistic timeframes, and flexibility to cope with changing priorities.
  • Ability to lead complex risk/process hazard assessments.
  • A knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, etc.
