About the Opportunity:
This teaching position offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- To assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- To contribute to the development of curriculum plans that cater to the needs of all learners.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals.
Requirements:
- NZ Literacy and Numeracy curriculum competence is required.
- The ability to speak Te Reo Māori at a level that can be used in the classroom for up to 7.5 hours per week is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work in a multicultural kura environment guided by Māori kaupapa.
