North Island ICU PositionWe are seeking an exceptional Intensivist to join our team at a level 2 ICU in North Island, New Zealand. As a valued member of our team, you will provide expert care to patients requiring intensive support and contribute to the unit's ongoing success.
About the Unit:
- The ICU has 6 beds with flexible mix of HDU and ICU-level patients
- Accredited by CICM and ANZCA for Basic Training and Rural Rotation
- Ongoing capacity expansion plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex multi-system support cases
- Work closely with senior medical officers and house officers
- Develop and implement unit policies and procedures
- Participate in departmental meetings and decision-making processes
Essential Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Intensive Care Medicine
- At least 3 years' experience in critical care
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
