About the Role

This is a 6-month fixed-term position covering national service as a Paediatric Cardiologist at Starship Children's Health.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing cardiology and cardiac surgical services for infants and children with congenital and acquired heart disease.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert medical care to patients with heart conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Pursue opportunities for teaching, audit, and research within the department
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills and work effectively in a team environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Eligibility for Locum Tenens/vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Experience working in pediatric cardiology or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
