Inventory Management Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Person to join our Hamilton Central Parts Warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment, collaborating closely with parts department and customer service staff to meet demanding fill rate targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all parts department and customer service staff to ensure inventory is accurately managed and fill rate objectives are met.
- Accurately pick up parts according to the issued pick list and complete required documentation for shipping within specified guidelines.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the manager as required.
- Properly locate inventory and update relevant information in the ERP system.
- Assist in loading trucks with finished goods.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage during the loading process.
- Conduct regular inventory counts as necessary.
- Ensure a safe and organized workspace at all times.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
