The Role: As a Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant-Trainee, you will be part of a supportive team that encourages work-life balance. You will undergo extensive training and have access to knowledgeable staff and clinical leadership throughout your transition. Key responsibilities include assisting in and delivery of safe and appropriate care within anaesthesia delivery, providing skilled clinical assistance to anaesthetists, and working collaboratively with theatre teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must be a NZ-trained Registered Nurse with a 3-year Bachelor of Nursing Degree from a NZ training institute, registered to work, and have a current APC. A minimum of 2 years' experience in THEATRE, EMERGENCY, PACU ICU / HDU areas in a large NZ hospital is also required.
