The role of Senior Project Manager - Transportation involves leading a team of professionals in the design and construction of large-scale transportation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from environmental assessments to conceptual planning, through design, construction, and occupancy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects as a PM for Environmental Assessments and Detailed Design Projects.
- Lead the Design Team consisting of Engineers, Scientists, Planners, Coordinators, Schedulers, and other consultants.
- Create innovative ideas and approaches to re-evaluate and improve business processes.
- Promote and oversee safety programs and overall safety culture.
- Day-to-day project oversight and communication with clients and project teams.
- Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify project schedules and budgets throughout all phases.
- Review and track contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
- Lead safety programs, quality reviews, plan reviews, and inspections.
- Understand and assist in negotiating contracts of all parties to the project.
- Oversee approval of all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
- Evaluate, advise on, and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
