Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join our Banking team based in Auckland. Led by partners Dan Collins, Miriam Andrews, and Paul Farrugia (who heads our banking practice), you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of deals including leveraged finance, structured finance, acquisition finance, mezzanine finance, project and construction finance, syndicated lending and debt restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and lead negotiations on core documentation
- Manage banking transactions according to deadlines
- Provide expert advice to clients on financial services matters
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years' PQE in general banking and finance law
- Experience gained from private practice or in-house, with at least some of that experience gained in New Zealand
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
