We're on a mission to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents living with dementia at Oceania Group.

We're seeking skilled and empathetic individuals to join our Meadowbank team in Auckland as Resident Support Specialists.

Your primary responsibility will be to support residents in engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to their lives.

You'll work collaboratively with residents, their families/whānau, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment that fosters independence and well-being.

Your key duties will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily tasks and personal cares.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident progress and updating care plans as needed.

We're looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key qualifications required include:

  • Diploma or certificate in aged care or a related field.
  • Current first aid certification.
  • Experience working with dementia clients preferred.
