About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS to take on a challenging role with significant responsibility. You will be working closely with our Managing QS and other team members to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Management: You will be responsible for managing the cost of projects, including applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliation.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports on project costs, value, and profit/loss.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and support to the project team as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience working with main contractors in the water sector.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and commercial management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
