We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Services Specialist to join our team at Hutt Hospital. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all facilities, including inpatient wards, outpatient areas, and community facilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene in all areas of the hospital
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and other high-touch areas
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and external contacts
  • Strong Organizational Skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
  • Highly Responsible and Reliable: ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous Cleaning Experience: an advantage but not essential
