Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our Financial Crime Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the growth story of ASB.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the Financial Crime Operations Committee (FCOC), ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
  2. Develop high-quality reporting content and documents to support timely and accurate messaging.
  3. Support the development and delivery of insightful operational, risk, and remediation reporting.
  4. Achieve best practice in tools and techniques to deliver timely insights, improve accuracy, and efficiency.
  5. Provide operational Risk Management support across areas such as RMD, Risk Assessments, RIC, Issues, and Incidents.
  6. Collaborate with the Line 1 Risk team to ensure effective management of compliance obligations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of compliance/operational risk frameworks and their application.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including AML/CFT & Sanctions, CoFI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and ability to interpret information.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
