Mission Overview:

We are seeking experienced professionals to lead our Credit Risk Management Insights Analytics team. This team is responsible for providing critical insights and analytics to support strategic planning and decision-making across various portfolios, including Consumer Finance & Collections (Credit Cards, Personal Loans & Personal Overdrafts).

The successful candidate will report directly to the Insights Lead and be accountable for developing an effective high-performing team of analysts. Key responsibilities include fostering open communication, coaching, and opportunities for growth and development within the team.

A vital aspect of this role is relationship and stakeholder management, requiring the ability to uncover and anticipate stakeholders' likely requirements for the future. Strategic planning and subject matter expertise will support further optimization of credit risk strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure credit risk within the Home Lending / Consumer Finance & Collections portfolio is managed within the bank's risk appetite, from origination to collections.
  • Deliver concise and insightful interpretation of information and analysis associated with project delivery/prioritization and BAU growth objectives.
  • Provide accurate and insightful reporting to executive and regulatory audiences.
  • Manage and continually optimize the retail bank's credit origination strategy in line with business risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience in Credit Risk Management. Strong management and analytical skills, good business acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential.
