Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetic Technician or Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant to join our team at Auckland Surgical Centre. As a key member of our medical laboratory and surgical assistance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our anaesthetists and surgeons during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres
  • Provide technical support to anaesthetists and surgeons during procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient operating theatre environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • To be registered with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand or Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • To hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • To possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • To have a strong customer focus and be able to provide high-quality patient care
