Cabinetmaker - Auckland Region

We are a kitchen manufacturing company based in Auckland, seeking 4 skilled Cabinetmakers to join our supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:- Study design plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures
- Select timbers and other materials, and prepare layouts
- Measure and cut materials to the right size and shape
- Prepare and assemble wood parts to make cabinet furniture or form sections of build-in furniture
- Erect and install cabinets, drawers, shelves, and boards
- Fitting and repairing hardware, such as hinges, locks, and catches
- Refurbish and repair existing wood furniture and fittings
- Maintain and clean company power tools and equipment
- Ensure all activities undertaken are compliant with related regulations
- Promptly report equipment defects and damage to management
- At least three years solid relevant experience, or
- A relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in Cabinetmaking or related equivalent qualifications/certificates
- Be a great team player, able to follow instructions
- Be physically fit and willing to work hard
- Good eye for details and ability to solve problems practically and effectively
