Key Responsibilities: As a Psychiatrist, your primary duties will include providing expert mental health care to patients and their whanau. You will also contribute to the development of our service model, working closely with our team to ensure its effectiveness.

Essential Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in general adult psychiatry and mental health for older people
  • Experience working in a community-based setting, with a focus on whanau-led care
  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligibility for vocational registration
  • A Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry, or equivalent qualification
  • A commitment to cultural literacy, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Equity and Mana Motuhake
  • A current New Zealand driver's license
