CMM Operator and Inspector - Rocket Lab

We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Operator and Inspector to join our team. As a CMM Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in a cutting-edge environment, reviewing and recording measurement results, communicating results to machinists and engineers, and manual measurements of features and surfaces.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all purchased materials conform to our high-quality standards through technical inspections
  • Filing and storing documentation correctly
  • Supplying parts to flight stores and production on time

You should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with engineering drawings and inspection reports. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is highly desirable.
