Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actions Analyst to join our team at the FNZ Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and processing corporate events that occur across our various financial products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of standards and processing procedures to ensure timely product delivery and exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist in the formulation of procedures, workflow channels, and service manuals to support our operations team.
  • Process corporate actions on managed funds, equities, and fixed interest products within Key Performance Indicator targets.
  • Maturities, fund closures, non-income corporate action events such as rights issues, takeovers, stock splits, conversions, share purchase plans, and rebates.
  • SOURCE relevant information from fund managers, data feeds, Bloomberg, custodian agents, or relevant websites to ensure corporate actions are processed correctly.
  • Liaise with the Client Relationship and Support team to ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain internal stock and cash ledger control accounts and clear them daily.
  • Reconcile client holdings versus agent holdings.

Requirements

  • A background and interest in financial markets, ideally with exposure to corporate actions.
  • Tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in operations is preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including MSSQL Server 2008.
  • Attitude to execute, deliver, and succeed with high attention to detail.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ability to solve Financial Market and IT System issues.
  • Enthusiastic and able to perform the role autonomously while being a team player and contributing to the overall success of the team and wider business.
  • Proven project delivery.
