Midwife Care Specialist

**About the Role**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Community Midwifery Service and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
You will be working closely with our Specialist Diabetes and Maternal Fetal Medicine Team colleagues as well as a Social Work and Community Health Worker Team.
As a registered midwife, you will be responsible for providing continuity of antenatal care and postnatal care to our patients.
Many of the women have complex health and social needs, so a keen interest in learning the skills and knowledge to undertake joint working with several diverse agencies to get the best outcomes for women and babies will be a central part of this role.
We are looking to recruit midwives who have already been working in the community for the organisation or as a self-employed midwife for 2 or more years.
**Key Requirements**
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- A current NZ APC
- 2+ years recent clinical midwifery experience
