About the Role

This Data Steward position is an exciting opportunity to join our Data Management Office and contribute to the effective management of data in the organization. You'll work closely with the ASB Data Community to set up guidelines for data consumption and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing Data Governance and Data Risk Management strategies.
  • Coordinating remediation initiatives with stakeholders.
  • Developing educational materials on data governance for the ASB community.
  • Supporting the Data Management Office in achieving its goals.
  • Maintaining relationships with business stakeholders to understand their data governance needs.

You'll be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. A background in data governance, analytics, business intelligence, or information management in banking or financial services is highly valued.
