Job Overview
We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in the Southern District Health Board (New Zealand). As a key member of the Rehabilitation Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing diaries, booking meetings and travel arrangements
  • Coordinating and processing reports, as well as compiling statistics and financial reports using Excel
  • Providing general administration and support for the Service Administrator and wider team
  • Collaborating with the team to coordinate information for reports and ensuring timely delivery
  • Covering other administrative functions within the service when required

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience
  • High degree of knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, calendar, graphics, and presentation packages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Knowledge or experience within the health and disability sector is desirable
