**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Language Therapist to join our Community Child Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering care to children aged 0-3 years with a range of feeding, swallowing, and communication difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric dysphagia and experience working within a community setting. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with families, other healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assess and manage children with complex feeding and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to improve communication and feeding skills
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

**Requirements:**

  • Registration with the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists' Association
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience in paediatric speech pathology
  • Current APC and proficiency in Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS)
