As a National Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Manager, you will be responsible for leading and embedding a strong safety culture across the organisation.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have experience in a senior HSW leadership role and a strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management, and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HSW policies and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of Playcentre Aotearoa's Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy.
- Provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant regulations.
- Develop, review, and improve HSW policies, procedures, and systems.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead a team of HSW Leads and Administrators, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
- Promote a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across all Playcentres.
- Experience in a senior HSW leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in developing and implementing HSW policies, systems, and strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Playcentre Aotearoa's values.
- Adept at working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
