About the Role

This is a key interface position between the Ministry of Education and education providers, ensuring that sector leaders and communities have access to the expertise, programmes, and resources needed to support students' educational success.

You will work collaboratively with schools, kura, and whānau to ensure students are attending and engaged in education, and utilise a suite of supports and interventions to advance attendance and achievement outcomes.

This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work with student achievement data, and experience in developing and implementing projects.

You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of Te Ao Māori, promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori, and understand the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as they apply in the public sector.

The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills and experience.
