About the Role
The Assistant Retail Manager plays a critical role in our retail operations, overseeing the daily management of our pre-loved goods store. This position involves working closely with the store manager, volunteers, and other team members to ensure exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales, and maintain high standards of presentation.

Key Responsibilities
This dynamic role requires:

  • Supporting the store manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining a profitable store environment
  • Leading a team of volunteers, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive work culture
  • Maintaining accurate records, including stock levels, pricing, and merchandise movements
  • Cash handling, processing transactions, and managing cash flow
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, donors, and volunteers

Requirements
