We are seeking a skilled Senior HVAC Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, offering clients the best range of talent in the nuclear sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on ventilation projects that remove redundant assets from Alpha plants and associated systems.
- The Senior HVAC Engineer will support design throughout all project phases, including current ventilation options.
- Closely work with multi-discipline design teams and plant-based teams to deliver ventilation and building services work scope.
- Produce and check design variables, report to Principal Ventilation/Responsible Engineer, and guide designers and engineers in producing detailed drawings and part lists.
- Publish technical documentation and ensure compliance with regulated quality assured systems.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- One year within the previous three years working in roles where knowledge of Nuclear Ventilation Systems engineering was key.
- Recent experience working within a regulated quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles requiring professional engineering judgement.
- ONC
- Professional registration with an appropriate professional institution.
Desirable Experience:
- Three years within the last five in Engineering Design.
- Recent experience of Alpha Plant design and decommissioning of redundant plant.
- A good understanding of requirements for delivering ventilation designs in the nuclear sector.
- Experience in production of technical files and 'Design for Assembly' within nuclear facilities.
- Liaison with stakeholders and other design disciplines.
