About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Dunedin, New Zealand. As a Radiology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and inpatient imaging services using various modalities
- Supervise radiology registrars and participate in quality initiatives
- Work afternoon and evening shifts supporting both Invercargill and Dunedin Hospitals with final reads
Requirements
- At least five years' post-board certified experience in Radiology
- Interventional skills are an advantage but not required
- Able and willing to work on a rostered on-call basis for after-hours and weekend readings
- Able to receive New Zealand vocational registration
About Us
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 and a relocation package for the successful candidate who agrees to stay for a minimum of two years. Our hospital is a tertiary-level facility with 350 beds, offering a full range of imaging modalities based on a digital RIS/PACS system.
