About the Role
The position of Team Leader - Regional Data Collection is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on managing multi-modal data collection across regionally based teams. The selected candidate will oversee day-to-day leadership, motivating and coaching frontline roles to achieve exceptional outcomes for customers and suppliers.

This involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Optimization, Performance & Development team and the Support & Ingestion team within wider Collection Operations. As a result, this position requires discretion and judgment, as well as extensive people skills and life experience to operate in a high-autonomy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Managing multiple teams operating under diverse working hours and employment types• Overseeing daily operations and optimizing performance across teams• Developing and implementing strategies to improve data collection efficiency and quality• Building trusted relationships with local communities, businesses, and internal stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, along with significant experience (5+ years) in a service delivery environment. They should also have expertise in CRM systems, Work Allocation tools, telephony software, and Excel. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work remotely, possess a current full New Zealand driver's license, and demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo, and Te Ao Maori.

A proven track record of leading diverse teams, delivering training, and fostering connections with various social, cultural, or business groups is essential. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and reporting skills are also required. Strong internet connectivity and reliability are mandatory for remote work.
