Asphalt and Metal Roofer

Kootenay Career Development Society is seeking a skilled Asphalt and Metal Roofer to join our team As a key member of our crew, you'll be responsible for installing high-quality roofing solutions that exceed client expectations.

1. • Participate in morning safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment
   • Assist in tear-off of old roofing materials to prepare for new installations
   • Install flashing on various roof transitions to prevent water damage
   • Install asphalt shingles and metal roofing to meet client needs
   • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

• • Advanced knowledge of roofing processes, including extensive experience with asphalt, metal, and composite materials
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges
  • Clear and professional communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
  • Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks
  • 1 year of roofing experience or construction-related experience is an asset

• Competitive hourly rate: $30-$40 per hour
• Full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week
