Salary and Benefits
This full-time position offers a salary range of £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 per year (pro rata for part-time hours). The role includes 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) and opportunities for ongoing professional development and training. Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Addiction Recovery Specialist or Alcohol Use Disorder Coordinator to join our team in Wirral. As a valued member, you will be responsible for managing caseloads and providing support to individuals affected by alcohol use. Your key duties include conducting assessments, developing recovery plans, minimizing harm related to alcohol use, and advocating access to partnership services. You will collaborate with each individual to facilitate social integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasizing recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
Requirements and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and have experience in this field. You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficient IT skills. You should be proactive, working independently with strong time management and prioritization skills. A good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices is essential. Additionally, you should be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
