About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join our team as a key player in ensuring the safe management and direction of traffic around road construction and maintenance sites.

The ideal candidate will have a safety-first attitude, a full NZ Driver's License Class 1, and relevant traffic management experience and certifications. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment, operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently, completing documentation accurately, and communicating professionally with the team and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.
  • Maintaining and ensuring plant and equipment are operational.
  • Operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Completing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicating professionally with the team and community.

What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate, guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, flexibility to work additional hours/days as required, and opportunities for advancement to Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) and beyond.
