About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately coding diseases and procedures for all patients discharged from the hospital. This is a permanent part-time position, working 28 hours per week with flexible working arrangements available.

Responsibilities:

  • Coding diseases and procedures for patients
  • Maintaining accuracy and quality of information in line with NDHB and MoH requirements
  • Prioritizing workload to meet deadlines

About You:

  • Experienced Level 2 Clinical Coder or above
  • Medical Terminology & Clinical Coding qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a clinical coder and/or experience using 3M codefinder software
  • Minimum two years previous health-related clerical / clinical record / nursing or clinical experience
