Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Platform Elements team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain network solutions and critical infrastructure patterns, primarily leveraging AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of cloud-based network infrastructure, including VPC configuration, advanced routing and connectivity patterns, and new and evolving network technologies like Service Mesh.
  • Develop Terraform modules, templates, and providers to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Configure and manage gateways (e.g., VPN, Direct Connect) to establish secure and reliable connections between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Manage DNS services and records to ensure efficient name resolution and traffic routing.
  • Monitor and analyse network performance metrics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, NAT, and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, React, and Golang.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in agile environments.
