We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in Auckland. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development with a global organization.

About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial support and insight across the business. You will work closely with the Finance Business Partner and Commercial Finance team to partner with branches and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Business Managers and cross-functional teams to understand financial systems and increase their financial literacy.
  • Support the Commercial Finance team in developing workable action plans and identifying opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to derive valuable insights and support key decisions within the business.
  • Provide accurate forecast information to facilitate management decision-making.
  • Conduct analysis to understand drivers and KPIs of the business and monitor performance.
  • Review existing processes, make recommendations, document new processes, and implement change successfully.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years accounting and finance experience.
  • Working towards CA/CPA qualification.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting systems (ERP's).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides).
