About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Lifeline Counsellor, answering calls and text messages from our helplines. You will work allocated shifts on a fortnightly basis, including day and evening shifts, and one weekend shift every two weeks.

All shifts are worked in the office in Epsom, with no remote work options available.

Your Skills and Experience
  • You will have a Social Services related degree (Counselling or Social work) and experience providing counselling support.
  • Able to work flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Have a passion for supporting people when they are most distressed in a way that is empowering and effective.
  • Can work 32 hours a week.
  • Live in Auckland.
