About This Role

We're looking for a Conversion Process Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Hamilton.

This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong technical expertise who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

You'll play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring quality production, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Safety & Compliance: Champion workplace safety, conducting risk assessments and implementing improvements to enhance equipment and procedures.
  • Production Optimization: Ensure efficient, high-quality production by optimizing process settings and implementing Standard Operating Conditions (SOC).
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot technical issues and support operators in problem-solving and machine operation.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects, including new product introductions, machinery upgrades, and process development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and development teams to implement solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: A technical expert with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
