At Oranga Tamariki, we believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive. Our approach is centered around providing holistic support to tamariki and their families, addressing their unique needs and circumstances.
We work collaboratively with communities, whānau, and other stakeholders to develop and implement tailored plans that promote positive outcomes. Our focus is on early intervention, prevention, and rehabilitation to help tamariki and their families achieve stability and resilience.
We recognize the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the need for a bi-cultural approach in all aspects of our work. This includes acknowledging the mana and tikanga of Māori and promoting a deep understanding of our history, culture, and customs.
