About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Fitters to join our fast-paced Lichfield site where you'll be a key member of our high performing Maintenance Team. With a focus on Health & Safety and maintenance best practice, you'll use your sound mechanical experience to navigate changing work priorities as well as implementing scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure our site performs at its peak each day.
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you'll be responsible for mechanical maintenance services across our manufacturing lines, providing support by maintaining all machinery in alignment with our asset care plans and strategies.

Your Role
You'll use your problem-solving skills to effectively fault find and repair breakdowns with confidence as the need arises. You'll also be responsible for providing support by maintaining all machinery in alignment with our asset care plans and strategies.

About You
We are looking for a proactive and motivated mechanical fitter who are committed to continuous improvement and achieving excellence in everything you do. We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate (L4 or higher)
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands on fitter experience ideally including machining, fabrication and welding skills
  • Exceptional fault finding and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the square
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as a team and independently
  • Tech savvy and computer literacy skills, ideally with knowledge of SAP
  • Previous experience within an FMCG / food manufacturing or similar environment would be beneficial but not required
