About the Opportunity:
The Greater Wellington Regional Council is seeking a Commercial Procurement Specialist to join our Commercial Partnerships Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies for the acquisition and management of public transport fleet and depots.
You will work closely with colleagues across the team to support the detailed design of key commercial terms, shadow price bids, and tender documentation. This is a complex and aspirational rolling procurement programme that requires a high level of expertise in public transport infrastructure assets.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of public transport infrastructure assets.
- Ability to build consensus with multiple parties on the best way forward.
- Track record of creating and embedding practical solutions to complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies for the acquisition and management of public transport fleet and depots.
Working closely with colleagues across the team to support the detailed design of key commercial terms, shadow price bids, and tender documentation.
