Programme Overview

Kirikiriroa & St Peter's Scout Group offers a range of exciting programmes and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our young members. As a Bush Leader with Overnight Endorsement, you will play a key role in developing and delivering these programmes, focusing on leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver overnight programmes that promote leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Train and mentor Scouts in bushcraft, navigation, and survival skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other Kaiarahi and Group Leaders to achieve programme objectives.

Requirements

  • Hold a current first aid certificate and have prior experience in outdoor activities.
  • Be at least 18 years old and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attend a one-day Intro to Tramping Course and have completed relevant logbook requirements.
  • Pass a Police background check and commit to regular attendance at Scout Section Meetings.
